The Wrinkly Rambler

Pleasant walks with camera and three dogs

First Snow of Winter

We had our first snowfall of the winter today, so I took the dogs out for what would be Molly’s first experience of such conditions. Having parked the car not far from Rivington Hall we spent the afternoon wandering through woods and across fields.

In spite of having planty of snow to play in, Brett, Molly ans Sam still enjoyed a little tine splashing in this stream.

It wasn’t long though before Brett and Molly started digging sticks out of the snow for me to throw. Sam wasn’t far away conducting his own search.

On our way through some woods I spotted these sheep in a neighbouring field below Rivington Terraced Gardens.

Again, it didn’t take long for the dogs to find some more sticks to play with.
