The Wrinkly Rambler

Pleasant walks with camera and three dogs

Walker Fold to Burnt Edge and Back

Took the dogs for a leisurely walk in the area near Burnt Edge this afternoon. I parked just off Walker Fold Road near the woods and walked up to Burnt Edge and then up onto the Winter Hill road. From there we walked up the road to Hole Bottoms and then past Holdens Farm, before making our way back to the car. We took three and a half hours for about 3-1/2 miles, but that was because I spent most of the time admiring the scenery (the buttercups are in great profusion at the moment), taking pictures and throwing sticks for the dogs. It’s a hard life being a pensioner. 😉
